This week Venus in excitement-seeking Sagittarius naturally takes center stage and meets with Neptune and Jupiter in very different aspects.
First, Venus and Neptune will square, which may cause us to feel more driven to escape into an alternate, more enjoyable fantasy reality. For this reason, this aspect is highly favorable for artists of any medium, because the opportunity to work directly with Spirit is heightened. It is, however, important to understand that our perceptions and thoughts may be skewed and ungrounded, especially when it comes to relationships, finances, belief systems and the quest for expansion. Take conversations and mental noise with a grain of salt and avoid making big decisions around the beginning of the week.
Mid-week, Venus dances with Jupiter to sprinkle a little luck and optimism our way. In Sagittarius, Venus seeks experiences that feel exhilarating. Combined with Jupiter’s tendency toward going big rather than going home, Thursday can be a good day to take a calculated risk that you’ve been contemplating for a while.
Over the weekend, Mars will join the Sun in Scorpio. When the planet governing ego consciousness enters truth-revealing Scorpio, we are given the opportunity to cut through layers of our perception to get to the heart of matters. Mars in Scorpio will give us the sustained motivation to dig, descend and discover.
The week ends with the Sun squaring Saturn, producing a potential sense of restriction in our self-expression. The Sun in Scorpio expresses itself through a fixed sense of emotional depth, while Saturn in Aquarius requires more intellectual and social interactions. Be mindful of boundaries and make sure you have someone’s consent before attempting to navigate psychological or spiritual waters.
