We venture deeper into the ethereal waters of Pisces Season this week. Mars and Pluto meet in high harmony on Wednesday, bringing with it an energy that can help us dig deeper into our psyche to understand our motivations, desires and needs at this time. (Keep in mind that not all insights are “pretty”, especially with Pluto involved.) We may find that we are acting out our own dark patterns in situations that have us feeling restricted, oppressed, abused, manipulated or otherwise spiritually exhausted. This pattern recognition can be helpful in light of understanding where we may be pushing ourselves past our limits for subconscious or unconscious reasons. Remembering that we all have dark and light within us can help us move through this transit with the self-compassion necessary to arrive at conclusions with healthy discernment and thoughtfulness.
Take inventory of where your energy is going and decide if adjustments are needed. Mars in Taurus has no problem putting in the work – but only slowly, methodically and with the promise of an energetic return on investment. Pluto in Capricorn has no problem installing an entirely new work ethic that doesn’t run on auto-pilot mode – but only if it’s practical, realistic and grounded in the goal of reaching our potential. Use the transit of these two planets to get serious about pausing your normal routine, observing yourself, spiritually cleansing your psyche and revitalizing your ego patterns as well as work and health habits. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from trusted practitioners (therapists, astrologers, tarot readers, etc.) for deeper guidance and reflection.
Venus enters Pisces this week, the sign she is said to be exalted under. Flowing with the slippery energy of Pisces is typically best practice when trying to hone in on the spiritual messages and intuitive hits Spirit is sending us through subtleties. Matters of love, money, relationships, and value systems may take on a more spiritual focus during Venus’s stay in Pisces. Synchronicities and spirit guides in the forms of people, messages, animals, etc. can begin to pop up as if to point us toward the path. On the same day as Venus moves into Pisces, the Sun will sextile Uranus and we can find that we desire change, excitement and even an immediate environment upgrade. This is a good time to play around with your hairstyle/clothes, update your Instagram bio or revise your resume.
Just before Saturday’s Virgo Full Moon, Jupiter in Aquarius will pour flowing energy into the North Node in Gemini. This speaks to a Full Moon that can energetically grab our hand and lead us down a path of spiritual growth and evolution as we attempt to release built up worry, tension and stress. The Virgo Full Moon shares flowing energy with Uranus, helping to bring about changes that are needed in our lives in order to continue walking our highest path. Finding ways to stay grounded in both the body (Virgo) and soul (Pisces) is crucial as the Virgo-Pisces axis is illuminated by this Full Moon. With Neptune still squaring the Nodes, we clearly find that outward chaos is abundant and infinite numbers of perceived realities are existing within the same space on Earth – making it all the more crucial to strengthen our roots within ourselves as we weather this collective period of mental, physical, emotional and psychological crisis.
Whichever house is occupied by Virgo in your birth chart will give you more clues about the area of life that could use refinement, attention to detail and enhanced clarity around goals at the Virgo Full Moon. This is also the house that may contain issues that have been the subject of recent worries that require your tender loving care – perhaps by looking to the opposite house for an opportunity to find balance.
