We enter a heavily Venusian week, beginning with her transition into Aquarius and followed by meetings with Saturn, Uranus and Chiron. Venus moving into Aquarius means the planet of love, money, beauty, art and creativity now wants to break free from the chains of tradition. This Venus placement needs to spice things up through experimentation. Expect lots of energetic movement shaking up any stagnation, especially mentally and/or involving love, values and money.
The Moon wanes in Libra for the first part of the week, helping us to pay more attention to what may be imbalanced or needing adjustment. This waning moon phase can also help us connect the pieces of the puzzle to understand our experiences in a new way. On Thursday the last quarter moon in Scorpio helps us connect deeper to our psyche to realize what is ready to be left behind as we begin to look toward the New Moon next week.
The Sun squares Mars this week which can heighten tempers and frustrations, especially as Mercury retrogrades through the same zodiac domain occupied by the Sun – Aquarius. On one hand we can feel a desire to share our unique self with society and work toward the greater good, and on the other hand we can feel the pull to slow down and indulge. We can rectify and balance these conflicting energies with healthy boundaries – both with ourselves and others. Look to your physical and emotional body for clues and wisdom about how much energy you are putting out and whether or not it is sustainable.
On Saturday February 6, Venus will meet with Saturn, Uranus and Chiron. This time can oddly feel both restrictive and exhilarating, with a side of noticeable personal growth to boot. With Venus newly in Aquarius we can feel extra sensitive to that which feels limiting, no matter the context. A square with Uranus, the planet that rules Aquarius, indicates tension and friction coming from our outer circumstances. Being that these energies are paradoxical in nature, don’t be surprised if feelings of confusion or pessimism come up around this time.
Opportunitites to show our “spiritual work” may come this week when Venus sextiles Chiron. Old patterns and situations in relationships can come back around for us to respond from the more healed space we have cultivated. Choose wisely and act from your Higher Self for best results.
