In beautiful cosmic timing, Uranus goes direct two days after the Capricorn New Moon on January 12th. The Universe seems to be saying: okay, now GO! With all planets direct for two weeks, don’t be surprised if you feel strongly called to make changes in your life that feel more in alignment with your heart’s new desires. When all planets are direct, we are being given the gift of greater clarity that we can harness to make the positive changes we have been mulling over for some time…
An opportunity to revisit the past and make revisions comes when Mercury goes retrograde in Aquarius on January 30th. Shortly before going retrograde, Mercury shares energetic aspects with Neptune, Pluto, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus. In this flurry of activity, Mercury seems to be gathering information from various areas of our consciousness (spiritual self, psyche, ego, timekeeper, teacher and innovator, respectively) to broaden the scope of our retrograde experience…
Energetically, this month helps us shake off a little bit of the dust from all that has crumbled down around us recently. Of course, a new calendar year does not signify the ending of hardship; but we can be sure we are moving through a different cosmic landscape now. Honor the ups and downs of your human nature and try to tap into your personal version of flow this month. This does not require you to “shed” your former self and become a “better version”. It simply requires you to tune into your inner world and use it as a compass to navigate new waters…
