Much like the berries ripening in nature, there is a new chapter coming to fruition in the story of our lives this month! On June 14th at 4:52 AM PT / 6:52 AM CT / 7:52 AM ET, the moon will be full in Sagittarius – the sign that connects us with belief, faith and truth.
Sagittarius is a sign that connects us with our adventure-seeking nature. Always wanting to see and know more, Sagittarius can be skilled at adapting to the ever-changing nature of truth. We may find that this full moon inspires us to be flexible where it counts; and maybe even grant ourselves the permission to change our minds about something.
Ruled by Jupiter, this lunar event encourages a release in the name of expansion. For some, this could mean a relationship or job ending, but for others it could mean an internal shift in perspective that allows for more faith and optimism.
This is a full moon that aspects Neptune in a square, which is sure to stir the pot when it comes to the way we feel spiritually connected to something beyond what meets the eye. Perhaps a shakeup in our faith practice(s) is in order. Maybe we need to view something from the perspective of the soul’s journey to find more peace. Or, it could just be that we need to honor our emotional process by taking a long, restful pause. Regardless of the circumstances, balancing intuition with logical discernment is key as Neptune is known to muddy the waters of clarity. Put simply: keep one foot on the ground, and if something feels deceptive or confusing, insist on taking your time to decide until after the full moon.
This full moon makes a sober sextile to Saturn, asking us to remain grounded and focused on building the future we desire. Of course, Neptune’s influence can translate to frustration with our inability to see clearly right now. We need not have all of the answers right now – however, we definitely should strive to have some plan in place, armed with the wisdom that we will need to be prepared to make space for experimentation and flexibility along the way.
Also notable is the exact conjunction between Mars and Chiron in Aries at the time of the full moon. There may be residual pain to contend with, especially related to anger, oppression, crossed boundaries or resources for survival. In some ways we are all dealing with the pain of suppressing our instinctual, authentic selves for one reason or another. For balance, we can look to the opposite sign of Libra for clues on how to navigate potential imbalances. There we find the medicine of connection and pleasure as the antidote to poisonous anger and resentment.
