The moon is in the airy fairy playful sign of Gemini for just a little bit longer before she dances over into Cancer, where we’ll have a Full Moon + Lunar Eclipse on Friday. Uranus turns direct in Taurus on Friday too, bringing chaotic yet ultimately liberating energy to the table. Sunday sets the stage for the Saturn + Pluto conjunction in Capricorn. Take a look at our current environmental & climate crises, political unrest, as well as our own personal anxieties/fears and you’ll see the manifestations of these intense astrological energies. We are under skies right now that were only last seen hundreds and hundreds of years ago, which is when the foundations of our current harmful, broken, corrupt systems were established.
Right now, this weekend in particular, it is absolutely crucial to pay attention to what is coming up for you as a result of the inevitable changes in your life. How are you feeling at the deepest core of your being? What do you need? What is your heart asking for? Those feelings have important messages for you from your soul. Lifetimes worth of cycles, patterns and karma are all ready to die.
From personal experience I’ll say that if you try to maintain a heavier focus on outer events than on healing and nurturing your inner world, you’ll likely succumb to tsunami waves of paralyzing fear. Don’t get me wrong – it’s still important to stay aware of your surroundings – but this Full Moon eclipse in Cancer stands across the sky from the Saturn + Pluto conjunction, literally forcing us to feel our feelings about our current trajectory. This is an intense and rare season of death and rebirth that is demanding us to be present, feel, and rip open our hearts to pour out all the love we can muster into the next foundation we attempt to build after these current ones self-destruct and die. We have an incredible opportunity to experience planetary rebirth and subsequently rebuild our world from a healed space, but we’ve got work to do.
Take it easy this weekend especially. Love on yourself like you would a good friend in need of comfort.
