We begin a busy astrological week with Venus’s celebrated return home to Libra, where the planet of desire and feminine wisdom receives a boost of energetic support. In Libra, Venus can resume the search for balance and compromise; wisdom and vulnerability; openness and boundaries. The house ruled by Libra in your natal chart will receive extra loving attention, perhaps through the restoration of balance or by illuminating imbalances that need your conscious awareness.
Mid-week Mercury and Mars meet in a conjunction, marking a time when we should be careful with our words. We may find ourselves feeling more aggressive or impulsive, which can be channeled through healthy activities such as exercise and journaling. Avoid saying things you don’t mean this week, and instead put your energy into making the mental shifts you need to feel better.
The Sun and Jupiter oppose each other later in the week. If you have been thinking of making some changes and decide to go for it, try to take smaller steps toward your goal. With Jupiter involved this is easier said than done, but it will be worth the restraint in the end when unfortunate oversight (or overestimation) is avoided. On the same day, Uranus stations retrograde, bringing more inward energy to the collective consciousness. During Uranus’s retrograde, we can expect to have more time to process and understand all of the changes we have been through while the planet was direct.
On Friday Mercury and Uranus meet in a trine, and it may be time to say what we need to say. Of course, we should aspire to do so with love and tact – so avoid blurting it out at an inappropriate time! Whatever is on your mind that needs to be spoken, written down or dealt with will come bubbling up to the surface, so be sure to give it a healthy outlet. Brushing up on effective communication skills is a great use of this energy.
In case the previous flurry of activity wasn’t enough, the week also ends with a bang! On Sunday we have a second Full Moon in Aquarius. Just hours later, the Sun enters Virgo marking the official beginning of Virgo Season. (Happy Birthday, Virgo friends!!) This Full Moon is BIG – because it is conjunct the biggest planet in the solar system, Jupiter. This makes the house ruled by Aquarius in your chart very important because it will give you clues about what illumination is trying to come to you. Another signature of this Full Moon is an exact trine between Mars and Uranus. Whatever is happening around this time for you is likely trying to help you get unstuck from an old rut. This may mean you’ll need to release something, which may be uncomfortable, but if you tap into the deeper spiritual undertones you may find your soul recognizes the true meaning of what you are going through.
