This week features an aspect called a T-Square between Mars in Leo, Saturn in Aquarius, and Uranus in Taurus. In such a configuration, heavy tension is lending itself to the creation of necessary breaking points and page turning moments.
Mars in Leo wants to push forward with tangible action. This is the signature of the inner child at the wheel, wanting to go toward that which is playful and enjoyable and perhaps a tad dramatic.
Saturn in Aquarius wants us to learn timeless lessons the hard way to build character. In Aquarius, the planet of harsh realities and responsibilities is demanding that we consider the bigger picture and greater good of humanity more than we focus solely on ourselves.
Uranus in Taurus wants to ditch the status quo and do things differently. In particular, the urge to re-evaluate the use of physical resources is highlighted here. There is also a focus on sustainability and our relationship to Mother Earth.
The main challenge this week will be integration. How can we allow each archetype to be expressed while maintaining a sense of balance and groundedness? How do we handle restriction, frustration, and inconvenience? What do we understand our role to be in the larger picture of humanity’s evolution? How much weight and power do we give others over the course of our lives, and how comfortable are we with marching to the beat of our own drum?
With a heavy emphasis on Mars activity this week, we can expect our (and others’) ego to be especially active. We may find the need to act quickly, speak up for ourselves, assert boundaries or strike out on our own path independent of what others are doing or saying.
Amid the T-Square, Chiron comes into the mix to bring up painful patterns for the purpose of acknowledging and healing. A trine between Mars and Chiron can help us understand ourselves and our habits more. The Sun squaring Chiron supports this healing of our heart’s true desires. However, it will be important to stay open and prepared to learn through experiences such as disagreements or arguments as Mars and Chiron are both in fire-hot signs, potentially bringing tempers and repressed anger to a boiling point.

This can also be an enlightening time to look at your own birth chart and examine your natal Mars placement. What sign is it in? What house is it in? Does it aspect other planets in your birth chart? How does your ego wish to be expressed in a healthy way?
