Mercury, Venus and Mars all move into new territory this week, shifting our perspectives and unlocking the doors to new levels of consciousness. Mercury goes into Aquarius, Venus into Capricorn and Mars into Taurus. Mentally, we can begin to expect eccentric and original ideas, thoughts, plans and conversations. In regard to love and money, we may be more prone to sticking with tradition and aspiring for hard-won results. And our ego drive, which was previously strengthened and mostly running off of repressed anger/rage (due to a long retrograde and shadow period), is now motivated to act more slowly and diligently.
Mercury will meet with Pluto for potentially transformative news or deeply healing conversations. This can also bring new insights into our conscious awareness that can help us to emotionally alchemize our pain into power. Mercury moves into Aquarius at the end of the week and we will all be bucking tradition in favor of the eccentric, weird, and original. On the same day as his ingress into Aquarius, Mercury squares Mars which can have us finding it difficult to put our actions where our mouth is. We can be rethinking prior commitments around this time and determining whether we still feel aligned with our previous desire. The end of the week can help us get serious and mentally disciplined in some area of our life when flighty Mercury and task-master Saturn meet. This is great energy for finally getting some tasks crossed off our to-do list that may have been lingering.
Mars moving into Taurus mid-week will lessen the intensity of focus on repressed rage, anger, power dynamics and unconscious ego drive. Taurus is a sign that wants slow, steady, productive progress and isn’t afraid to take it one step at a time to get there. Harness Mars in Taurus energy by acknowledging and honoring the hard work it is going to take to achieve your goals, while making sure to stop and smell the roses, eat good food and pamper your body along the way.
